Outfit Tips & Ideas for Electric Forest 2019

The countdown for Electric Forest is ON! I am so so stoked to be going back to the forest. This will be my second year and one of the biggest concerns I had when it came to my first Forest was: WHAT DO I WEAR?! I had been to a variety of festivals, but wasn’t sure what the vibe was for Electric Forest. I’m sure some of you are feeling the same so I thought I’d provide some tips and ideas to help you prepare.

General Tips

  • Anything goes! You can either get super dressed up or keep it low-key
  • Prepare for any type of weather. EF Weekend 1 2018 was cold whereas EF Weekend 2 2018 was super hot and a thunderstorm on the last day. I packed some stuff in case it got cold at night, but it was still warm at night.
  • COMFY shoes. I’m pretty sure I walked almost 40 miles combined last year. Get comfy shoes that are broken in and wear insoles with them as well.

What I Wore Last Year

I absolutely loved my outfits last year. Despite the warm weather, I was comfortable and could get groovy in them. One thing I wish I did was get my hair braided prior so that I wouldn’t have to worry about it. I am definitely doing that this year.

What I’m Considering Wearing This Year

For Forest this year, I wanted to take it up a notch by including more accessories and playing with color. These are the outfits I’m currently considering that are so comfortable. I will also be packing option in case it does get cold.

Other Ideas

For My Kings

For all my boy followers who might be wondering the same on what to wear, again anything goes. Wear some harem pants and a pashmina or comfy shorts and a printed tea or all of the above. Throw some glitter on if you’re trying to sparkle like a true king at Forest.

I can’t wait to see all the magical Forest looks you’ll create! See you in the forest!
