Outfit Ideas for the Conservative Raver/Festival Goer

A YouTube subscriber gave me this idea to provide outfit ideas for girls who aren’t comfortable wearing the two piece rave sets or pasties, etc. I automatically thought back to when I first raved. I wore a crop top and shorts or an oversized t-shirts and fishnets. It has taken me some time to get comfortable wearing anything more revealing. It is totally okay if you prefer to be more covered for a rave or festival. Here are some ideas of how you can spruce up your looks.

T-Shirt Dress

All dresses are from Dollskill except for the checkered which is from Forever 21.

Like I said, oversized t-shirts were my jam when I first started raving. I could just throw it on and go and feel comfortable dancing the whole night away.

Mesh Shirts

Black & White and Sequined Star & Moon are from Dollskill. The rest are from Forever 21.

I feel like the next step for me after wearing oversized t-shirts was wearing a mesh type shirt with a bralette and bottoms underneath it. You can play around with different styles to wear under the mesh shirt. I’ve seen these types of shirts come in many different styles and colors. I highly recommend having a black one in your closet just to have handy.

How to Style It

Mesh shirt: Dollskill, Bodysuit: Rave With Mi Gente, Leggings: Dollskill, Disco Ball Headband: Britts Blossoms

You don’t have to wear a super revealing outfit underneath a mesh shirt. You can wear a bodysuit and add some leggings to it so you don’t have to feel all that revealed. Do what you’ll feel comfortable in and have fun with accessories to dress it up.

Fun Bottoms

All bottoms are from Dollskill

You don’t have to wear the rave booty bottoms that you see all the time. You can stunt just as much wearing fun leggings, biker shorts, joggers, skirts, etc. I love wearing joggers and biker shorts it makes you feel like a sporty badass b*tch.

How to Style It

I went more for the sporty biker short look with this look and mixed in the mesh shirt option to show you an other variation of how you can wear a mesh shirt with it.
