Happy New Year vibey fam! I hope you all are doing well as we enter 2024 which feels wild to say. I feel relieved to enter a new year and hopefully a new era. 2023 was a wild and bumpy roller coaster for me filled with lost of unexpected plot twists. I am feeling hopeful that the dust has settled a bit for me to take on this year.
To fill you in on my life since the last letter from the editor, here’s what’s gone down:
- I went to Denver for a soul-nourishing weekend.
- I attended Electric Zoo for the first time and had a good time despite the disaster it was.
- I got a full-time job that I am so happy with and am now balancing my businesses on top of a 9-5.
- I began experiencing some chronic health issues that impacted the rest of my year. I am thankfully finally on a path to healing though.
- I attended iii points for the first time and had a great time in Miami.
- I spent Thanksgiving solo to take care of my health.
- I ended festival season at Seismic Dance Event for my 6th year.
- Took December off of shows for a reset.
- Did a full calendar year of no alcohol.
I also dealt with some more personal things that definitely impacted me showing up fully online, but I learned so much in this time period. Despite everything, I really do feel like I’m coming into my own in terms of my authenticity and not caring what others think. Owning who I am, living my life as I please to, and keeping my circle with people who support and love me for me.
This year has a blank slate energy after the dust has settled from the roller coaster of this year. I am really honing in on myself and showing up for myself while calling in new experiences this year. Kicking off this year, I’ll be attending Groove Cruise for the first time where I’ll be doing content coverage and two workshops. The rest of the year will unfold as it does.
I’m excited to see what comes of this year and I’m wishing all the best for you too! I hope you have a year filled with abundance, love, support, and success and that your desires come true. Let’s have a vibey era and a year of DOING IT FOR THE PLOT.
