Happy Monday! My latest video is up where I dive into how to recover from a music festival as well as document my week after Electric Forest and my recover process. Here are my best tips on how you can recover from a music festival:
- SLEEP! Sleep is so so important in recovery, especially if your sleep schedule got messed up while at the festival.
- Don’t feel like you have to jump right back into a routine. Let yourself get adjusted to going back to work then slowly introduce things like going to the gym and diet as you get more energy.
- Don’t be hard on yourself while getting back into the groove. You just had the most incredible weekend it will take time to get back to 100%.
- Do things that make you happy and fulfill you! It’s so easy to just sulk in bed and watch festival videos, but get out there and enjoy life whether it’s having a glass of wine with a friend, going to a yoga class or just going for a walk outside. Do things that make you happy and get you active!
- Supplements really aided me in avoiding getting sick. I am not a health professional so consult a doctor before implementing these supplements. Before, during and after Electric Forest I was taking Airborne gummies, Echinacea, Oregano Oil, a probiotic and a multi-vitamin.
I did not get sick after EF like I did after EDC and I think it was because of what I listed above. Let me know your best tips in recovering from a festival!
