We finally have an answer on whether EDC Las Vegas will be happening in 2020. *cue the tears* Despite all of us being hopeful, EDC and Pasquale Rotella just announced that EDC will now be moving to May 21-23 in 2021.

While it is sad one of the largest festivals won’t be happening this year due to the pandemic, Pasquale announced it was what was best given the current state of the world. You can read the full announcement here. Essentially they had tried to make it happen in September by adding additional safety precautions but were unable to safely pull it off in time.

So what happens now?

If you have 2020 passes incuding Camp EDC & shuttles, your pass will be honored for 2021 and will transfer over.

If you don’t have tickets, but would like to go there will be passes back on sale Thursday, August 6th at 10 am PT / 12 pm CT / 1 pm ET.

If you don’t have tickets and aren’t able to purchase or aren’t ready to (my current position), I can imagine there will be some type of resale or you will have to try to find tickets. It’s still a ways away, things come up for people where they cannot attend so hopefully you’ll be able to find a ticket.

Regardless, I think was this was the best move for EDC and Insomniac to keep everyone safe. It will definitely be an exciting reunion for everyone as EDC will be celebrating 25 years under the electric sky. Knowing Pasquale and Insominac they will make it an unforgettable weekend.

If you want EDC to happen next year, please stay safe. Wear a mask and social distance. Don’t leave your house unless absolutely necessary. We all need to be doing our part so we can reunite under the electric sky.
