**NOTE** THIS IS FROM 2020 SO PRICES HAVE CHANGED. For 2023, they just announced the dates and all info will be up to date on their website. – Ade (11/25/22)
Electric Forest just announced their dates for 2020 and the excitement just kicked in that we’ll be going home for the 10th anniversary which is crazy!! I have been getting a lot of questions about the various ticketing options so hopefully, this helps you in your planning.
One thing to note is that your camping and wristband into the festival are ONE price. For example if you want GA, you purchase a General Admission ticket and that is your ticket into camping AND the festival. That means you have a spot in either car camping or tent camping. There are add-ons like early arrival, RVs and such that you’ll have to purchase separately, but I wanted to make that very clear.
As you are planning for Electric Forest, I HIGHLY recommend you read through the entire website. My blog is a great resource and while I appreciate you being here a lot of the info is on the website. Let me know if you have any questions!
Here are the various ticketing options:
- General Admission
- Good Life VIP
- Back 40 VIP
- Frontier Suite
Payment Plan Info
There are 3 options for Payment Plans:
- 1% Down with Fees (Available for Purchase Over $100 up to $2,000)
- With this option it secures your spot by paying 1% of your total, then you make 6 additional payments ever 15 days.
- 10% Down with Fees (Available for all purchases up to $2,000)
- With this option it secures your spot by paying 10% of your total, then you make 3 additional payments every 30 days.
- 33% Down with Fees (Available for all purchases over $100)
- With this option, it secures your spot by paying 33% of your total, then you make 2 additional payments every 30 days.

How much do the fees come out to for GA
Ade says
I believe they were around $45 then $12.99 shipping
Xine says
Is Good Life with the RV add on in the Good Life camping grounds? Or is it the same as the Back 40 RV camping?
Ade says
Yes it is

Hello! We’re trying to plan for the 2022 festival and we’re using this breakdown to get a general idea of the different ticket options/pricing as none of us have ever been. For ticket options that have more than one wristband, are all wristbands included in that one price? For example, for the “Good Life VIP + Good Life Bungalow Tents (3-4 people)” starting at $2749, does that mean that 3-4 people can split the $2749? Or is that the price per person? Same question for all other options that include more than 1 wristband. Thank you for the great article!
Ade says
Yes that means you can split it!
Diogo says
Hi,
Thanks for your content! It has been extremely helpful and informative!
I have been following Electric Forest for a couple of years now (possibly one of the few major festivals I haven’t been to yet) and am now committed to finally going next year and drive from NYC. I just want try to confirm and know for sure which package is the right one for me once sales open (definitely don’t want to miss out).
Wife and I are on our mid 30s so we definitely value privacy and some comfort. With that said, if you could confirm which options have a private bathroom within the unit/suite that would be amazing 🙏🏻 from my understanding our options (for 2 ppl) would be either Good Life Tiny Homes or Frontier Billy only?
Ade says
yes I believe so!

Hi there! I’m going for my first year in 2023! We have been given the opportunity to use someone’s 4 in the forest to get priority on tickets. We’re looking at good life cherry orchard possibly. Do I need to purchase two separate orchard specific passes so my husband and I both have access? Do you purchase camping and then add on wristbands? How does that work?
Ade says
You will each need one wristband for Cherry Orchard! That wristband includes your camping and festival access.
Rory says
Hi there! Trying to decide between GA RV camping and Good Life Camping without an RV. Are the air conditioned bathrooms in Good Life private in the sense that they’re single occupants? Or is it a bathroom with multiple stalls like any public indoor event. Thank you!
Ade says
I believe it’s a bathroom with multiple stalls!
Adam Thompson says
For the Good Life
Back 40 RV
(2-6 people), is that 1699 price split between the 6 people? Or would also 6 have to purchase this for 1699?
Ade says
Split between 6 people!
Daisy says
Hello!! Our group will be attending as first timers next year!
Around when do tickets go on sale and is there a way to know pricing for 8 people for back 40 home? Also are the sites located on festival grounds or would we have to find a ride from the hotel to festival grounds?
Ade says
Usually first few weeks of December they’re going to start rolling out that info soon they just announced dates. They will have the prices listed when they update the website. Back 40 is on the grounds you may have transportation to the festival entrance I haven’t done it before.
Toni says
Can GA purchase a good life with RV? Or is that just for loyalty/vip folks? And is that $1699 price for all 4 of us and we just split it? None of us have been before. We want air conditioning and easy bathrooms/showers. Want to make this the best time, so doing research before tix go on sale!
Ade says
Festival tickets and camping tickets are bundled together so if you buy a GA camping pass that’s GA access to the festival AND access to GA campgrounds. You’d essentially be buying two festival tickets. So I’d buy Good Life with RV if you want that experience and you’d get VIP for the festival. The price is all together so you’ll split that with your group, these prices could change for 2023 on sale just depends.
Toni Hofmann says
Thank you! And you have to rent an RV separate correct? The site doesn’t come with one?
Ade says
Correct! That’ll be a separate cost

Hi, hi! Thank you for doing this! Hoping to finally join the EF Fam in 2023… We’re looking into getting a Back 40 RV spot for our group of friends, but we have one friend who is looking into GA. Can people with GA wristbands visit the Back 40 campgrounds at all? We don’t have a full grasp on how exclusive different areas of the festival are. Any insight would be much appreciated!
Ade says
Not sure which tickets you ended up getting, but if you got Back 40 you can visit your friend in GA, but they can’t visit you in Back 40.
May says
Hi, so if there is 2 of us and sharing one tent but only one wristband comes with the package. Do we buy two of the package or just buy an extra GA ticket?
Ade says
hopefully you got your tickets squared away, but the website had it very well listed out what was included and what you’d need to go with it.
Aaron Nachlas says
Hi! Thank you for all the great info! I am doing EF for the first time this year, driving up after Bonnaroo. I’m trying to find out if there is a Solo Group Camping at EF like they have at Roo.
Also wondering about the Single Occupancy fee. Is that just for entry, or is that for the campsite? Just trying to figure out if I give someone a ride in, but camp alone, do I pay it or not.
Thanks again, and happy festing!
Ade says
hi! they got rid of the solo occupant pass this year. They don’t have an official solo group camping, but you could try to find other solo festival goers on Reddit, Discord, or Facebook.
Michael D McDermott says
2 of our friends got good life before they sold out we were all going to but rest of group had to get bigger love will they be able to hang out with us or do they need to sell good life and get bigger love
Ade says
yes you won’t be able to camp together.
Joanna Molinar says
Hello!
Thanks for putting this together! 🙂 One thing I am still confused about is, does each ticket come with a camp spot? For example, we’ll have four people in our group with one car. Does that mean we get one spot or four spots?
Thanks so much! <3
Ade says
If you have a GA ticket that includes a camping spot for GA camping AND your ticket to the festival with GA admission. If your car is in GA, every person needs one GA wristband. Hope this helps!
Justine says
Is it super hard to get VIP? I’m only starting to research for 2024 but I read somewhere that you can only get VIP if you’re loyalty and you have to have gone to EF in previous years to get loyalty. Is this correct? My group usually won’t go to festivals if we have to go GA, they turned down Lost Lands this year because of that, made my heart sad 🙁
Ade says
Typically yes, but you could always try to find resale!
