There are 9 stages at Electric Forest and I wanted to do a deep dive on each of these to give you all an idea of what to expect. When I first saw the map last year I was so overwhelmed and didn’t know what to expect so I hope this helps.
Here is last year’s map for reference I can imagine not much will be different:
Tripolee
This is where I mostly was. A lot of the curated takeover stages will be here. Subgenres of EDM vary here last year I saw Lane 8, Manila Killa, Quix, Jauz, Malaa, Testpilot, Get Real and more. It’ll depend on if someone is curating the lineup for that day who is playing there.
Ranch Arena
The main headliners will play here as well as any live artists that are headlining. Some other main artists on the lineup will play earlier slots in the day. I saw Bassnectar, String Cheese, GRiZ Live band, Rufus du Sol, Party Favor, Louis the Child last year.
Forest Stage
This is probably my favorite stage because you feel fully immersed in the forest. Rufus du Sol and Hayden James here was amazing.
The Observatory
Same thing this stage is in the Forest. I recommend sitting on an elevated area and just watching all around you as the Forest lights up at night. I saw Kasbo here and it was incredible. Some live artists will play here as well.
Silent Disco
Stage perfect to groove out with some headphones on with your friends. Sometimes there will be secret DJ sets here.
The Grand Artique
This is a smaller stage in the Forest where you can catch a lot of up and comers. Sometimes an artist on the lineup will play a secret or surprise set here so you never know if you come by this stage.
Sherwood Court
Another stage where some of the bigger artists will play. I saw Space Jesus, Rezz, Squnto b2b Boogie T here. I think Marian Hill also played here as well.
Jubilee
Such a fun stage that I saw Elohim at. Wish I saw more sets at this stage super fun vibe being under a circus tent. A lot of vocalists will play here.
The Hangar
If you go all the way towards the back there’s a stage in the Hangar. They were playing groovy disco music when I was back there. Nice place to chill out and take a break.
