The first ever Seismic Dance Event is coming to Austin, Texas next month and I am SO EXCITED. The first of its kind put on by Real Music Events will bring major house and techno artists to Carson Ranch. Real Music Events is known for some of the best shows right here in Austin. I’ve been to a couple shows at Kingdom put on by Real Music Events that were always a good time. So when I saw they were hosting its first festival, I knew I had to go. It also happens to fall on the weekend I launched Vibe With Ade last year so I will be celebrating my 1 YEAR of owning VWA at Seismic. If you’re going or are interested in going, here are my 5 must see artists for Seismic Dance Event.
Lane 8
I have seen Lane 8 twice: once at his Austin stop earlier this year and at Electric Forest. His set truly takes you on a musical journey with insane energy. I loved his show because it was in an intimate space and Electric Forest was a bigger festival set so I’m interested to see the vibe of his Seismic set. If you’re new to Lane 8, checkout his mixes on SoundCloud.
Amtrac
I have heard a lot about Amtrac and his live sets so when I saw his name on this lineup, I freaked out. He’s one of those artists I rarely see on a lineup or tours near me so I will definitely be at his set. I am very excited to get down to this groovy and dynamic set. Groove out to his Hey There Kiddo pt. 3 mix while you’re getting ready for Seismic.
Dillon Nathaniel
On the second phase announcement of Seismic lineup, Real Music Events snuck in Dillon Nathaniel onto the lineup poster and I FREAKED OUT. He is one of those up and coming house artists that excites me. He has some releases on Tchami’s Confession label and Tchami and Malaa play his music all the time in their sets. This set will for sure be a high energy set and a guaranteed good time. My personal favorite is his Warehouse Bass VIP Edit of his own song Resonate.
Green Velvet
Green Velvet is a legend. Do not miss this set. I saw him at EDC in the Neon Garden where I was taken on a musical journey literally to the sun came up. I could’ve been there for the rest of my life honestly. Green Velvet will take you to La La Land and you won’t want to come back. No need to prepare just go to his set and enjoy the vibe.
Desert Hearts Takeover
I witnessed a Desert Hearts Takeover at Goldrush Arizona and it was seriously so fun. I can’t wait to watch the vibe that the Desert Hearts Crew will bring to Seismic. I’m looking forward to Mikey Lion and Porky’s sets specifically, but I know any set by Desert Hearts will be a good time for sure.
